Chocolate Baroque 15 minute card - Landscape edges

Good morning everyone.

Today  I have a card using the lovely scene from  Landscape Edges.

Stamps used: Landscape edges, Loving Sentiments

I think this sunset scene is very pretty  as it can be used with a variety of backgrounds.

I have stamped the scene and words  with black Versafine.
The sun rays are extended through a stencil using Distress inks and the blue added lightly around the edges.
The sentiment is over stamped with a red Versafine inkpad.

Very quick and easy and the sunset can change colour each time you make it.

Enjoy your day and happy crafting.

Chocolate Baroque Rose samples

Hello everyone.

I have two cards today using a couple of the beautiful rose designs and a couple of the word stamps.

I really like this bold design with the crackle background called Crackling Rose

The background of the card is simply done by dabbing a couple of Distress inkpads over the card, overlapping each other. You can use a wet paintbrush to smear the colours across the card, and you will still see the texture.
The rose has then been coloured with the same green ink and red.
Best wishes is from the  Loving Sentiments set.

I think this would be suitable for a male friend who likes gardening.

This card actually uses several sets of rose  stamps and a  Loving Sentiment.
Stamps used; Crackling rose, Floribunda net, and rose heads from Harlequin rose.

The background uses the same stamp as my first card, over - stamped several times, with Raspberry Distress ink and then coloured with Raspberry and Dusty Concorde

I selected the single rose heads that I liked  and cut them out individually.

These are unusual colours for me to use but I was pleased with the result.

Bye for now
