Chocolate Baroque 15 minute card - Harlequin Bouquet

Hello again.
How time flies. Another month gone and the 15 minute card slot is here again.

I have used the lovely Harlequin Bouquet stamp for my card this time.
It's a very pretty image.

Stamps used:- Harlequin Bouquet
                        Loving Sentiments - words

Sunray stencil
Distress inks

Stamp the words first, onto the right hand side of the card, then tear a mask from paper that will cover the words and stamp the flowers over the top.
Use the stencil to ink the sunrays.
Cut the oval around the stamped image and ink the edges.
Cut the black matting layer or the edge could be inked with a black pen.
Mount onto a card base and add the sentiment and bow.

Hope you have a good day and check out the other 15 minute cards on the Chocolate Baroque blog.

Bye for now

Christmas Artcuts samples

Hello to anyone visiting.

As it is now November I am going to start thinking about Christmas.
Normally my Christmas card making is a mad panic from the  1st of December.

Anyhow, here are three seasonal  projects using Artcuts shapes.
Hope you enjoy seeing them.

The Noel is covered with the beautiful Chiyogami papers that Artcuts sell.
There is a video on their website, showing the technique used to cover the shapes.
I have to say that the Noel was a challenge, quite time consuming, but worth it in the end I think.

This little Scandi style horse is really cute.  I whitened the wood with a white Posca pen first, left it to dry and then stamped the snowflakes with a red VersaMagic inkpad.
The design across the card is a. ribbon.

Love the squirrel. This again is covered with the papers and I think it makes a cute Christmas greeting card, with the gold and white.

Thank you for visiting, hope you'll come again soon.
