Chocolate Baroque Challenge 19

Hello everyone.

Thanks for visiting.

 Chocolate Baroque Challenge  19

The challenge this month is using very soft colours,  and I have enjoyed making a few cards with these lovely pastel colours.

Current Challenge

I have used the lady from the  Mackintosh Beauty set, along with a scene called  Landscape collage.

The lady is lovely and is suitable for wedding and birthday cards.

She is easy and quick to cut out, so I have paper pieced her dress . This is not a technique I can normally be bothered to do, although I do like the look.

I have just treated myself to this set of stamps, which I have looked at so many times, and I'm loving them!

I really like the Mackintosh style and this set has lovely elements to it.

The lady is beautiful and what I particularly like is that you can cut bits of the design away to make her look different, as you will see in my samples below and on my challenge card. The dress would also decoupage well, to give it depth.

On the  picture above, I have cut the bustle off to make her dress more streamlined.
I like stamps that are versatile and she certainly is.

The background stamp on this card is called  Baroque Orchids, and as you can see I have cut away various sections of the lady design.

Thank you for visiting, I'm off to play with some of the other designs in the set.
Bye for now.

Hi Carole, love both of your card examples, and the paper piecing on your challenge entry looks great, evocative of tartan with the diagonal pattern. great mixing and matching of stamps on both cards.
